NextDoor Advertising Guarantees

Hi Jennifer,

I am so thrilled to see that you are a Nextdoor Ads expert! I stumbled upon your YouTube channel and saw your bold video directed towards NextDoor to get the invite to their headquarters. You go girl!

As I begin to learn about Nextdoor advertising options, I am curious about expectations…I own a local roofing business alongside my dad and brother and we are interested in doing paid advertising. With gutter season and spring showers around the corner, we want to get our name out there. As far as expectations go, do you think we can get a lead a day with a fairly good budget on Nextdoor? Or is that even something you could guarantee?

We will definitely be calling you when we’re ready.

Best,

Gutter Gal

Gutter Gal,

I can’t wait to visit Nextdoor! Thanks for taking note. And you impress me by being a bold and thriving entrepreneur yourself.

Great question because nothing is worse than implicit expectations that can’t be met. Nextdoor advertising is going to bring new business to your roofing organization - yes! But a lead a day? It doesn’t necessarily work like that in my opinion.

When we partner together, which I am sincerely looking forward to, you will see that Nextdoor Ads functions similarly to billboard advertising or awareness style marketing. The more you’re seen and noticed, the greater reach you’ll have. While your lead may not get clicked on every day, folks on this network are most interested in trust, frequency and recommendations & that we can help manipulate. I have worked with 5-figure marketing budgets and we see that leads take longer to convert on Nextdoor but as soon as folks see the ads, they begin to become curious. Then these same folks see your ad a second time and they go to your Nextdoor business page to learn more. Then they see your ad a third time and they give you a call. It’s an art and I’ve seen it work. But that’s typically the conversion path you can expect to see.

Contact me when you’re ready and I have a house that could use some gutter cleaning too!

Happily,
