NextDoor Advertising Success Story
Dear Jennifer,
I LOVE seeing that you are a Nextdoor aficionado. I became obsessed with the platform when I moved into my current neighborhood - whether it was car break ins or recommendations on a lawn guy, folks were so helpful. I’m not entirely sure how long they’ve been doing consumer type business, but I am shocked to see that this is a market I have yet to tape into for my own business. Where have I been? Well I’m here now and I am so ready to advertise my local Clermont flower shop. Can you tell me the best strategy for advertising?
Many thanks,
Advertising Amaryllis
Dear Advertising Amaryllis,
What a poignant pen name! My husband gave me an amaryllis for Mother’s Day one year - such a beautiful flower.
We’re so glad you’ve arrived. And don’t feel bad, Nextdoor has all sorts of cool features up their sleeves and we’re glad you’re here for it. And great question! We just did a case study on a produce company we’re doing advertising for on Nextdoor AND Facebook, in tandem. We are currently running awareness style marketing (that billboard style marketing) campaigns, targeting various cities that their produce pop-up shops visit and they couldn’t be happier. In fact, we would go as far as to say they are crushing it.
What is awareness style marketing you might ask? Well, we’re simply using Nextdoor’s Advertising Center as a way to build familiarity with their products and services.
