How To Set Up Nextdoor Business Page For Local Business

Find out how to create and optimize your Nextdoor business page and make posts for your local business.

If you’re a local business looking to create and optimize your Nextdoor business profile and learn how to post on your listing, you’ve come to the right place.

Let’s start with optimizing your business profile on Nextdoor. First and foremost, your logo (size is 500x500) and cover photo (size is 1156x650) need to be uploaded to really enhance your profile.

Now add your business info which includes your business name, address (where you conduct business), email, website, phone number, licenses, and business hours (keep the same as hours you have on GMB). Keep in mind that if you’re a service-based business, you can hide your address from the contact information by unchecking a box. If you have a brick-and-mortar location, I highly recommend displaying your address so people can understand where you are relative to their location.

Business owners can post to the listing, similar to social media, but first, you will need to verify your listing with NextDoor. Once your business is verified then you will be able to post 2x a month. NextDoor has limitations on posting 2x a month until the listing creates a good standing with NextDoor, then it becomes ‘unlimited’ posting.
